Monson Cemetery Commission
Thursday, Dec. 6, 2007
The regular meeting of the Monson Cemetery Commissioners convened at 5:00p.m. in the office at 32 Wilbraham Road. In attendance were Albert Wilcox, David Martin, Shawn Connery, Paul Lovell, Erin McCurry, and William Plante.
Mr. Wilcox made a motion to accept the meeting minutes of Nov. 1, 2007. Mr. Connery seconded and it was so voted.
Old Business:
Black top- Mr. Martin wants us to find out if the black top needs to be sealed before it needs sand or salt for winter. He said it looked good.
BOS-Mr. Martin asked if we could contact Mrs. Neggers to be put on the BOS agenda for their next meeting. Mrs. Neggers will be contacted within the next week to discuss if we can be put on or not.
New Business:
No trespassing sign- there has been individuals who have been coming on the cemetery property to hunt and operate motor vehicles. It is felt by all commissioners that it is disrespectful and should not be allowed. No trespassing signs will be posted near the woods on the cemetery property and at the furthest point where you can drive a vehicle on the black top. The Chief of Police will be contacted to discuss if there are any further actions that need to take place before signs are actually placed.
Mr. Wilcox made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 6:25p.m. Mr. Connery seconded the motion.
